Religion: Patrick Mboma s’islamise !

Former international footballer and now Canal+ consultant Patrick Mboma became Islamized this Friday, May 13, 2022 in Douala. He will now bear the name of Djalil Mboma.

After the CAN in Tunisia in 2004, Patrick Magic Mboma hung up his boots and retired from the Cameroon national team. After stopping his football career, he embarked on a career as a sports analyst and can be found on the Canal+ sets as a sports commentator. But today it is not information related to sport that he shares, but rather in religion.

Several news pages on Islam spread the news: Patrick Mboma has become Islamized. The Cameroonian star took time this Friday, May 13 to become a follower of Islam at the Bonamoussadi mosque in Douala. He was surrounded by his new brothers in belief and everyone was celebrating the news. From now on, he will therefore be called Djalil Mboma, by his Islamic name. We can join the Muslim community to say « Manchallah ».
